Based on a true story, these two photographic series by Joseph use semi-abstraction and the psychological phenomenon of pareidolia to tell the story of the devastating volcanic forces that shaped the island of Lanzarote as we see it today.
STANDARD 1ST EDITION BOOKS

- Each book is an edition of 100, of which 30 of each are reserved for the Collector’s Edition.
- 120 pages total for both books.
- Portrait orientation (210 mm x 280 mm) softback, uncoated papers throughout.
COLLECTOR’S LIMITED EDITION
- As above, plus;
- A choice of two fine art prints.
- The cover image from Elements or Spirits.
- Printed on an A4 sized matt fine art paper with archival inks by Joseph.
- By request, other prints can be purchased and the sleeve tailored to incorporate them.
- A custom book sleeve to contain both books and fine art print.
- Each sleeve is printed using archival inks on recycled materials, handmade by Joseph.
- Every sleeve is unique, featuring a different image selected from the series, printed in mono on the rear of the sleeve.
- Signed and numbered by Joseph.
- Limited edition package of just 30 copies, plus 5 Artist copies.
